The Chronicles of Erdon
The Jitabe Empire, also known as the Jade Empire, occupies a great expanse of land that borders a great sea; its denizens are primarily humans, elves, and dwarves. The capital city of Ro-Kyon is known to its residents as a place of much political intrigue and secrecy. The Jade Emperor is believed to have lived in and reigned from his Supreme Imperial Palace since eternity past, and is so called the Eternal Emperor – even worshipped publicly as a deity. The empire is known amongst its neighbors and provinces as a belligerent entity that works largely through force and intimidation; to the Erd abroad it is known only for its exotic and splendid wealth: stories abound of the abundance of gold and jade and alabaster (among other things), to the degree that mansions are carved from them. The mythical dragon – for no “flying lizards” have been seen for several centuries, emblazoned in jitabe (jade) is the empire’s official emblem.
